| Starlight Starbright™ Children's Foundation is a nonprofit organization for seriously ill children and their families dedicated to softening the hard edges of what a family experiences when a child has a serious illness. Starlight Starbright builds playrooms and teen lounges in hospitals, and provides PC Pals and Fun Centers for kids to play games, e-mail, and chat with friends. Entertainers and parties are provided for children in the hospital. The organization stays connected with the kids through online chat rooms and special outings for the entire family. Available on their Web site are videos and games geared for children that provide information on illnesses and treatments. Chapters are located in many U.S. states and in other countries. | ||
