For over 30 years, starting when I was old enough to begin to understand life, I have dealt with people suffering or trying to deal with various diseases and conditions, as I also suffered a long battle. I am not a doctor, I do not pretend to be one, what I am, is a caring person in real life. The National Asian Women's Health Organization (NAWHO) is working to improve the health status of Asian women and families through research, education, leadership, and public policy programs. NAWHO has designed and implemented national health promotion campaigns and programs on breast and cervical cancer, diabetes risk, immunization coverage, mental health, violence prevention, tobacco control, reproductive health, and osteoporosis. The organization has links to organizations that provide breast cancer materials for Asian women in the following languages: English, Cambodian, Cantonese, Farsi, Hmong, Japanese, Laotian, Tagalong, Thai, Tongan, Vietnamese, and Korean.
